Neuromyographic research with the latest 2023 Austrian "SURPASS-EMS Biomedical" device

The functional state of the peripheral nervous system is evaluated, the following nosology are diagnosed, and the disease's progression and course of treatment are tracked by electromyographic study.

Neuropathies:

polyneuropathy (hereditary and acquired), mononeuropathies (including tunnel, traumatic), plexitis, radiculopathy, etc.

  • Hereditary and acquired muscle pathologies (polymyositis, myotonic dystrophy, myopathy, etc.);
  • Neuromuscular transmission disorders (myasthenia and myasthenic syndromes);
  • Motor neuron diseases (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, spinal muscular atrophy, etc.).

The study is conducted in conscious patients who can adequately follow instructions:

It is minimally invasive, does not need any prior preparation, and takes between 40 and 90 minutes, depending on the type of research.

Symptoms:

  • Weakness;
  • Numbness;
  • Burning pain in the limbs;
  • Decrease in strength in muscles;
  • Atrophy of muscles;
  • Duplication of the image;
  • Ptosis;
  • Difficulty in swallowing;
  • Speech difficulty, etc.

Side effects:

  • The presence of a so-called pacemaker, an artificial heart rhythm generator;
  • Pregnancy.
