Migraine risk factors:
Several factors contribute to the development of migraines, including:
- Hormonal changes
- Psycho-emotional stress
- Eating and sleeping disorders
- Genetic factors, which are of great importance
Migraine forms
One of the most common forms of migraine is migraine with aura, also called classic migraine. Aura can be:
- Visual (flashing dots in front of the eyes, flashes of light)
- Olfactory (sensation of unpleasant smell)

A phase of agony follows aura. A differential diagnosis is required to rule out significant illnesses because headaches are a common symptom of many disorders. A visit to a neurologist is essential for this.
